This holiday season Dior is giving the iconic Parisian department store a New Look, decorating the Christmas windows in a tribute to the City of Lights.

It’s just early November but it feels like the holiday season is here thanks to the magical Christmas windows at Printemps Haussmann by Christian Dior.

A sprinkling of holiday cheer comes in the form of dolls outfitted in iconic Dior pieces, decking the halls with jolly spirit against a backdrop of the French capital’s legendary landmarks: ice skating at the Eiffel Tower, at a Tuileries Gardens- style fairground and taking in the sights from a hot air balloon drifting above the snowy Parisian rooftops.

The facades are decorated in luminous curled shapes echoing the ornamental design of formal French-style gardens, and hot air balloons symbolize an imminent departure.

The fashion house decorated the iconic department store’s windows using 74 handcrafted dolls showcasing Dior’s haute couture, iconic handbags, timepiece and perfume collections.

Unicorn, chandelier and haute couture, could this get anymore magical?

For the event in the City of Light, the French actress Marion Cotillard wore a fitted Christian Dior Haute Couture wool crepe coat accented with a black belt to show off her tiny waist.

To celebrate the collaboration, Dior is also launching a selection of gift-list worthy original items, exclusively available at Printemps Haussmann, including a snow globe, an advent calendar and a pop-up Christmas storybook.
