 Thanks to a new hot spot, New Yorkers are rekindling their love for the Upper East Side.

John DeLucie is the Chef Proprietor of The Lion restaurants in Manhattan and most recently opened Crown in a 1930’s mansion formerly home to the restaurant-cum-lounge Bruno Jamais and steps away from The Metropolitan Museum of Art on the Upper East Side.

 Crown’s menu features continental cuisine served in an elegant and sophisticated setting.

DeLucie is also the Founding Chef of The Waverly Inn which opened in 2006 in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village to critical acclaim. If you been searching long and hard for a Upper East Side clubhouse Crown has come to the rescue and has quickly became the new playground for the born and breed movers and shakers who have frequented the Upper East Side’s social scene.

The Chef John DeLucie has assembled a talented team here: his head chef is Jason Hall (formerly of Gotham Bar & Grill), his pastry chef isHeather Bertinetti (formerly of the Michael White/Chris Cannon kingdom), and the sommelier is Jordan Salcito (formerly of Daniel).
